Being truthful...

Everyday in our lives, things happened. Some bad and some good. But I tend to believe, everything happen for a good reason. Nothing is ever bad, nothing comes just to bring u bad. It just want us to learn something from it but how many of us really learn through our lessons? We know, all the decisions are actually in our hand, even the decisions to be happy or not. We always say, whatever you decide, you must follow your heart, be true to ourselves but how many can differentiate between your true self feelings and your human ego mind? So little to understand and yet so much to learn, huh? But i always consider myself lucky for i have angels (seen and unseen) around me to remind me to stay firm and be truthful.
Always ask yourself, what do you want now? What you really want now? And don't think! The first answer counts and nothing else! Do not analyze. You just need to answer on first instinct and keep up to do it. Do not be afraid of the consequences or toughness it brings for it will fall in pieces for you once you've taken the first step.

"No man, for any considerable period, can wear one face to himself and another to the multitude, without finally getting bewildered as to which may be the true." -- Nathaniel Hawthorne from the Scarlet Letter

"To go wrong in one's own way is better than to go right in someone else's." -- Fyodor Dostoevksy from Crime and Punishment

"All a man can betray is his conscience." -- Joseph Conrad from Under Western Eyes

So.. how many dare to be different to follow your own true heart?

Right and righteous

Sometimes, what is right to most of the people doesn't seem to be the right for you. Those who fit perfectly to other people's lives doesn't seem to fit yours. But yet, we always choose to follow the path where majority thinks it's right without thinking if it's righteous for us. Thus, we follow and we regret, we blamed others.

"Do what you feel in your heart to be right - for you'll be criticized anyway."
-- Eleanor Roosevelt (Former First Lady)

I personally thinks that Roosevelt got the point here. It is your heart that truly determines what's right for you and you just have to admit sometimes what's right for your heart and you, seems to be the wrongest thing to do. But if you don't act with your heart, in the end, you'll find yourself LOST, not knowing what's right and wrong anymore. Which is worst? I pick to follow my heart. Admitting that you're a bad or lame person, is really not that hard if you enjoy what you have...after all, who leads your life other than yourself? Don't let others influence you, it shall always be you and yourself.
